From the 2-4 June, L’Eze Harmonies showcased the exceptional setting of Eze Village in a whole new light, illuminating the village with musical charm and a sense of magic. Featuring an original operetta, children’s community choir, several world class recitals, a unique tour through the village and a series of receptions in the Chèvre d’Or gardens, what better way to celebrate the start of the summer season on the Côte d’Azur? This was an event not to be missed. Savills are delighted to have supported this wonderful initiative and the excellent work in the local community.
Eze village is one of the top locations in the world on Instagram and if you have been lucky enough to visit you know why. Winding streets, breathtaking views, charm, style and beauty all wrapped up with a cinematic backdrop and daring history including Roman emperors, a siege and great escape. So what better way to share such a historic location and exceptional location than with private evenings of music, artistry and community.
There is no denying that as a business and individuals we are passionate about the locations in which we live and communities we serve and what better way to give back than support the work of two local entrepreneurial and talented individuals, Remy Mathieu and Nicolas Cousin. With extensive international musical careers and proud Eze natives, Eze Harmonies is the innovative concept of this powerhouse team, keen to feedback to their community using their musical passion and extensive network of contacts, which showcased 25 international artists collaborating to create an unforgettable event.
On Sunday the 4th of June, Savills Monaco and French Riviera, alongside co-sponsors Burgess Yachts, had the pleasure of welcoming clients, friends and colleagues to the terraces of the Chevre d’Or Hotel, for a private evening concert overlooking the dramatic Mediterranean sea and Riviera coastline. Following an evening drinks reception, with wines selected by local supplier La Conciergerie, Villefranche and classical musical accompaniment, guests had the rare opportunity to experience a private concert by Stéphane Degout, a world renowned tenor accompanied by pianist Cédric Tiberghien. As the moon rose over the coastline and the music soared into the night, this was a fitting finale for an exceptional event, one described by guests as “delightful, beyond words” and we for one, cannot wait to see what awaits next year.
